World Sacred Music Festival
World Sacred Music Festival is a week-long celebration of sacred music from
across the globe, with UK-based and international musicians from diverse
faiths and cultures, aiming to promote understanding across boundaries of
religion, ethnicity, language and nation by providing opportunities to
experience moments of genuine transformation through sacred music and arts.
This year's Festival will take place 11-18 October 2009. The theme will be South and the festival will be focusing on artists from Africa, India and South America.

The mezzo soprano Loré Lixenberg is a performer of spectacular intensity and expressiveness. The warmth, range and agility of her voice impress just as much as her total absorption in any role.

CineCity is a film and moving image agency based in Brighton. It is our aim to develop film culture in Brighton & Hove and
the neighbouring areas in East and West Sussex by offering audiences a wide range film and artists' moving image work:
encouraging discussion, providing a platform for local and regional filmmakers and networking opportunities to
enhance creative development.
We host the South Coast's leading annual film festival in November and December, and curate film moving image programmes throughout the year.

Successful graduates from BIMM include ‘The Kooks’ who met and formed at the college. They have sold 2 million albums worldwide including a NO.1. album in the UK.
‘Beth Rowley’, recently enjoyed success with a Top 10 album and performed with Burt Bacharach at the Electric Proms and ‘Kate Walsh’, the first unsigned act to go to No.1 on the iTunes album chart.
BIMM prides itself on providing the best training for a musical career or alternatively a career within the music industry. Many students are also currently working in the industry, either at record labels, booking agents or management companies.
